In safe nanny's arms

When you're small and helpless and the world around is so big and sometimes even frightening and incomprehensible, there is nothing better than someone's secure arms warmly wrapped around you... 

Just look at the figures I made. A nanny full of calm and a sleeping baby girl . It's 1:12 scale. The nanny is about 15 cm tall . She's old-fashioned. She has a grey blouse, a black skirt and a white apron. In the apron's pocket a baby bottle is hidden. In nanny's right hand there is a dummy (not larger than 0.5 cm). On the nanny's grey hair there is a white nanny's cap. The baby girl is 6.5 cm tall . She is dressed in a white dress and a white baby cap that can be removed.

A slow morning...

Imagine a grey morning with rain tapping on the windowsill... 
But luckily enough, you do not need to rush this morning. 
Still in your pyjamas, wrapped up with a warm dressing gown,
you can devote all your senses to contemplating your breakfast.
Staring through the window, you wrap your hands around
a blistering cup of coffee or chocolate, enjoying its charming aromas.
Slowly waking up, you reach for a morning newspaper,
start reading it and smelling its fresh printing.
A crispy croissant makes your breakfast complete.

I love such slow mornings. And you?

The male figure I made is dressed in striped pyjamas and a maroon, satin dressing gown. Round his neck he wears a scarf. His feet are bare.
Included is a breakfast tray containing a cup filled with chocolate, 
a croissant, a red apple, and a morning newspaper.  
Everything is handmade by me.   
The figure is in scale 1:12, 16 cm high.

Sweet grandma's memories

This time I'm presenting characters in scale 1:6 - a little girl and her grandmother.

Many of us have such great memories of our beloved grandparents:
grandma serving delicious treats or sewing clothes for dolls
or grandpa taking for walks or reading fairy tales.

Just take a look at the two characters I made: they seem to be very
satisfied with each other's company.

The girl is 16 cm cm tall . She is dressed in a pink dress finished with
a cream lace. Her hair is formed into a mass of bright curls,
decorated with a pink bow. Shoes are light beige.
Grandma is 29 cm tall . She is dressed in a black lace blouse
and a dark brown skirt. Her slightly disheveled  hair is decorated
with ornamental hairpins.

I made some extra equipment for this set: there is a box of chocolates,
and a sweet doll belonging to the girl . The doll is dressed in a cream
suit and a cream cap and is 8 cm tall .
